Products Introduction:

Geosynthetic Slope Protection (GSP) is a composite slope protection material based on geotextiles, geogrids, and geonets. By laying a single material or combining multiple materials (such as geotextile + grid + eco-bags), a protection system is formed that combines soil reinforcement, erosion control, and ecological compatibility. Its core principle is to leverage the high strength, permeability, and flexibility of geosynthetics to enhance the shear strength of slope soil, protecting it from rainwater erosion and surface runoff, while also providing a support for vegetation growth, achieving the integration of "engineering protection and ecological restoration." This product is suitable for applications such as highway slopes, mine greening, and riverbanks. Compared to traditional mortar masonry and concrete protection, it offers advantages such as lightweight, low cost, ease of construction, and eco-friendliness, making it a mainstream choice for modern slope protection projects.

Geosynthetic Slope Protection

Product Features:

1. Strong and sturdy reinforcement, stable and anti slip: using precision weaving or needle punching technology of polymer fibers, the longitudinal/transverse tensile strength reaches 20-120kN/m, and the tear resistance and creep resistance are excellent. After laying, it is tightly interlocked with the slope soil to form a "geotechnical material soil" composite reinforcement system, which can effectively disperse the self weight of the soil and external loads (such as rainwater erosion and vehicle vibration), significantly improve the shear strength of the slope, reduce the risk of landslides and collapses from the root, and adapt to complex working conditions such as high and steep slopes (slope ≤ 60 °) and soft soil foundations.

2. Precise filtration and drainage, anti-corrosion and soil protection: The fabric pores are scientifically calibrated (0.08-0.3mm), which has dual functions of "filtration" and "drainage" - it can efficiently intercept fine soil particles carried by rainwater (clay and silt interception rate exceeds 95%), avoiding soil erosion and surface cavities on the slope; It can also quickly guide the infiltration of water, reduce the pore water pressure of the slope, prevent rainwater from soaking and softening the soil, resist the erosion of water flow at a speed of 3-6m/s, and maintain the integrity of the slope soil structure for a long time.

3. Ecological compatibility and collaborative restoration: Environmentally friendly polymer materials (such as degradable polypropylene and polyester) are preferred, which are non-toxic, harmless, and have good breathability, and can be directly used as vegetation growth carriers. When used in conjunction with spray greening or ecological bags, it can provide attachment support for grass seeds and shrub roots. In the later stage, the root system penetrates the material and interweaves with the soil, forming a three-dimensional protective layer of "vegetation geotechnical material soil", which not only strengthens the stability of the slope but also quickly restores the ecological landscape, solving the problem of "ecological fragmentation" in traditional hard protection.

4. Flexible adaptation and efficient construction: The product comes in various forms (roll, mesh, 3D pad, etc.), with a weight of only 50-350g per square meter and a flexible and bendable texture. It can be flexibly cut and spliced according to the terrain of the slope (convex, concave, broken line), without the need to level complex sites; When laying, heavy equipment is not required, and manual or small machinery can be operated. Compared with traditional protection methods such as masonry, the construction efficiency is increased by more than 60%, greatly shortening the construction period and reducing labor and equipment costs.

5. Weather resistant and corrosion-resistant, long-lasting durability: The surface is treated with anti UV and anti acid alkali coatings, which can withstand temperature changes from -30 ℃ to 80 ℃, resist underground moisture, soil corrosion, and microbial erosion. In outdoor or underground burial scenarios, the service life can reach 10-20 years, and long-term use is not easy to age or damage, reducing the frequency and cost of maintenance in the later stage and ensuring the long-term stability of slope protection effect.

Product Applications:

Geosynthetic Slope Protection

1. Highway and Railway Slope Protection: On fill/cut slopes of highways and railways, a combination of "geogrid + geotextile + sprayed greening" is used to protect against slope instability caused by rain erosion and vehicle vibration. It also restores slope vegetation, reducing maintenance costs and is suitable for road sections with complex terrain, such as mountainous and hilly areas.

2. Mine and Quarry Reforestation: For exposed rock slopes after mining, a "geogrid + eco-bag (filled with soil)" base protection layer is constructed. This stabilizes the topsoil and allows for the planting of pioneer plants, gradually restoring the slope ecology, preventing rock slides and soil erosion, and assisting in the acceptance of mine ecological restoration.

3. River and Reservoir Slope Protection: Used on the waterfront slopes of rivers and reservoirs, a combination of "anti-scour geotextile + geogrid" is employed to resist erosion during floods and protect the banks from collapse. Combined with aquatic plant planting, this approach balances flood control with ecological landscape, aligning with urban river management and protecting the surrounding ecosystems of reservoirs.

4. Municipal and Industrial Park Slope Protection: Used on municipal road slopes, park landscape slopes, and industrial park fill areas, this system utilizes "lightweight geonet + turf" to prevent soil loss caused by daily rainwater erosion while also providing beautification through vegetation cover, meeting the dual requirements of "safety + landscape" for municipal projects.

Geosynthetic Slope Protection

Geosynthetic Slope Protection, with its core advantages of multi-dimensional reinforcement, erosion control, ecological synergy, and flexibility and efficiency, transcends the limitations of traditional slope protection, which prioritizes engineering over ecology and has high costs and limited adaptability. Whether it's for highway and railway safety protection or ecological restoration of mining and river channels, Geosynthetic Slope Protection leverages material combinations and functional synergy to ensure slope stability while simultaneously restoring the ecological landscape. Combining safety, affordability, and sustainability, Geosynthetic Slope Protection is easy to install and adaptable to a variety of scenarios. It is an ideal solution for balancing protection effectiveness and ecological value in modern slope engineering, advancing slope protection from "hard barriers" to "flexible synergy."
