Product Introduction
1、 Basic attributes
Soakaway Geotextile is a flexible functional material made by interweaving high-strength polymer fibers (such as weather resistant polyester and acid alkali resistant polypropylene) as the core raw material through non-woven processes such as needle punching reinforcement and hot melt bonding. Its unique three-dimensional porous network structure ensures a porosity of over 70%, with a single roll weight typically between 100-500 kilograms. It is lightweight and has excellent flexibility, and can be precisely customized with thickness (0.5-5mm) and pore size specifications (0.01-0.5mm) according to the requirements of engineering for permeability rate and load-bearing strength. It is widely suitable for the permeability protection needs of multiple scenarios such as water conservancy, municipal engineering, and transportation.
2、 Core functions
Filtering and purification: With gradient pore size design, it accurately blocks sediment, soil particles, and impurities with a particle size of 0.02mm or more, avoiding the failure of infiltration channels due to blockage. At the same time, it ensures smooth infiltration of water at a rate of 0.1-2m/h, maintaining the dry wet balance of the base layer;
Drainage and diversion: By forming continuous drainage channels through fiber pores, the water flow path of the subgrade, slope and other base layers is optimized, and surface water accumulation and structural seepage are quickly diverted to the drainage system, effectively solving the problems of rainy season water accumulation and soil softening;
Structural protection: As an intermediate isolation layer, it disperses external load pressures such as vehicle compaction and earthwork filling, reduces direct friction losses between materials such as sand, concrete, and base soil, and reduces the risk of structural cracks, settlement, and other diseases.
3、 Main features
Strong adaptability: Excellent flexibility allows it to closely fit undulating terrain, irregular slopes, and even adapt to ± 20% of base settlement deformation. The single roll laying efficiency can reach 500-1000 square meters per day, greatly reducing the construction period;
Outstanding durability: the raw materials have been treated with UV resistance and aging resistance, and their performance is stable in the environment of -30 ℃ to 70 ℃. They have good resistance to pH 3-11 acid-base environment, microbial erosion and chemical pollution, and their service life can reach 5-15 years;
High cost-effectiveness: Compared with traditional sand and gravel filter layers, the material procurement cost is reduced by more than 30%, and the transportation is convenient, the construction labor cost is low, and there is no need for frequent replacement during long-term use, significantly reducing the maintenance cost of the entire life cycle of the project.

Product Application
1、 Water conservancy engineering field
In river regulation and dam construction, as an anti filter layer, it is laid on the upstream face of the dam or the slope of the river to block the loss of sediment particles, and at the same time guide the seepage water to prevent hidden dangers such as piping and landslides caused by excessive seepage pressure in the dam or slope.
2、 Municipal engineering field
Used for urban road subgrade drainage and underground pipe gallery anti-seepage filtration.
